For his distinguished career in the NHS, he has been awarded clinical excellence awards by his local NHS Trust
The Trust recognised his contribution to Laser Surgery in June 2011 when they performed their 1000th
laser operation since the introduction of Holmium lasers in urology in Basildon Hospital
in February 2005 (and the first in Essex).
